An agent doesn’t show up#
- Check it is one of the supported agents and actually running. New agents appear within seconds.
- An agent on another machine only shows up while that machine is Online in Settings
Machines . - The colored chips under Settings
Machines show each source onestation watches. A red dot means that source has a problem; hover it for details. - It shows up but you can’t answer it? It runs in a plain terminal and is watch only. Move it into herdr or start it in tmux.
An answer didn’t arrive#
- Did you press Esc within two seconds? Then it was taken back on purpose.
- Check the card’s delivery status. Failed usually means the question changed, for example because you answered it in the terminal. onestation won’t type into a different prompt. Look at the agent and answer again.
- After the trial ends without a license, answering is paused. See License.
The double-tap ⌥ shortcut does nothing#
Turn on onestation in System Settings
The phone says “Mac offline”#
- Your Mac must be awake, online and running onestation.
- You need an active trial or license. After activating a license, quit and reopen onestation once.
- If you revoked the phone or cleared Safari’s website data, pair it again.
A server or other Mac is offline#
Check the service and its log, and that the machine can reach relay.onestation.dev on port 443. Step by step in Machines & servers.
Permissions reset after an update#
macOS ties permissions to the app. If one stops working after an update or after moving the app:
- Make sure onestation runs from the Applications folder.
- In System Settings
Privacy & Security , open the affected list (Accessibility or Screen Recording), remove onestation with – and add it again. - Quit and reopen onestation.
